Looking to develop space applications combining two or more space assets resulting in commercially sustainable services?

The future call “Space Applications Supported by Open Data and Crowdsourcing” may be of interest!

Under its ARTES 20 Integrated Applications Promotions Programme, the ESA - European Space Agency will open a call for tenders to combine Earth Observation, Satellite Navigation, Satellite Communications or Human Space flight technologies, and be awarded a feasibility study contract.

These will allow “innovators to collaborate with user communities and stakeholders in the definition of sustainable services, while developing a comprehensive business case”, in fully funded 6-month projects.

The call will be launched at the end of August 2014 and is namely directed to SMEs, start-ups and newcomers that have never worked with ESA to propose new space applications, be those open data providers, user communities or innovators.
