The competition is about submitting a five pages Project Idea where space and Sustainable Development are joined to face the important challenges of the 21st century.
Participants:
must present an innovative, creative idea for a project showing the link between space and Sustainable Development, and thus helping to find answers to important European challenges and concerns of this century
must come from an EISC and/or ESA Member State (European Union + Switzerland and Norway)
must be a student or under the age of 30 with no more than 3 years of work experience
may enter as individual candidates or small teams (but if a team wins, only the team leader will attend the ceremony and collect the prize)
are encouraged to take a multidisciplinary approach
are encouraged to make use of ESA space data
There is no restriction on the area of study. To make for the greater visibility of space contributions to a more sustainable society, this Award aims to encourage the application of competencies in various sectors of activity.
